Israeli army strikes gatherings of Palestinians in west and east of Gaza City
Five Palestinians were killed and others wounded on Saturday in two Israeli airstrikes that targeted gatherings of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.
The attacks come as Tel Aviv continues daily strikes despite a ceasefire that has been in effect since Oct. 10, 2025.
Four Palestinians were killed and five others wounded in an Israeli drone strike targeting a gathering of people near Haidar Roundabout in western Gaza City, medical sources told Anadolu.
Another Palestinian was killed, and others were wounded in an Israeli drone strike targeting a gathering of people in the Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City, the sources added.
Since October 2023, Israel's war in Gaza has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians and injured over 175,000 others, according to Palestinian figures.
The war has also destroyed about 90% of the enclave's infrastructure, according to Palestinian figures.
