Palestinian killed, others injured in Israeli strikes, gunfire in Gaza
Incidents come amid continued Israeli violations of ceasefire agreement
A Palestinian was killed and several others injured in Israeli airstrikes and gunfire across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, as Israel continued to violate the ceasefire agreement that took effect on Oct. 10, 2025.
A medical source told Anadolu that a Palestinian man was killed and others injured in an Israeli drone strike targeting a gathering of civilians in the Al-Saftawi neighborhood, north of Gaza City.
The source did not specify the number of those injured or their medical condition.
Earlier Thursday, a medical source told Anadolu that a Palestinian was moderately injured after Israeli military vehicles opened heavy fire toward tents sheltering displaced people in the Halawa camp, east of the town of Jabalia in northern Gaza.
Meanwhile, the Israeli army carried out a series of demolitions targeting blocks of evacuated residential buildings in areas where its forces are deployed, including the town of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, east of Gaza City, and Rafah in the south.
Palestinians told Anadolu that they heard loud explosions overnight and Thursday morning caused by the Israeli army detonating explosive-laden vehicles in evacuated residential blocks in the areas.
Israeli military vehicles also opened fire toward areas east of the town of Al-Qarara, north of Khan Younis in southern Gaza, and east of the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza.
Israeli violations of the ceasefire had killed 1,501 Palestinians and injured 5,323 others as of Monday, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.
Since October 2023, more than 74,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 175,000 injured in Gaza in Israel’s genocide, while around 90% of the enclave’s infrastructure has been damaged or destroyed.
